Why attend?

Last year we had around 170 participants with five parallel sessions and 5 themes. The presentations were not divided by school they were divided by the themes that the advisory committee decided to take forward. This year we are inviting 5 schools to take part in the event Schools of Art & Design, Business, Heath & Education, Media & Performing Arts, Science & Technology and the Institute for Work Based Learning.

Cross school collaboration and trans-disciplinary discussions are great for research students. It gives you a opportunity to find out what other people are doing across the university and it gives you a safe place to present your work as well!

We circulated a survey to all the participants and attendees from the last conference. The general feedback was that it was a good event and that the research students would like it to take place again. The students enjoy talking to each other and learn more about their own field when engaging in cross school discussions.
